Three individual paintings have been mounted onto a cedar back emerging by 1/4".
In the first panel the image could be considered a bit scary. In the middle image, the honeybee is being analyzed and studied. In the final image all is well and happy as the bee goes along its way to flowers and sweet grasses.  Actual honeycomb is used in this collage.
