Six individual paintings have been mounted onto an oak back emerging from the frame by 1". Additionally the petals are cut in places forming a raised surface with high texture. Gregory Bald in the Great Smoky Mountains is famous for its hybrid flame azaleas. They come in colors ranging from white and salmon to deep reds and oranges. This ten acre grassy bald is at an elevation of 4949 feet.
